Jennifer Lavern is the President and CEO of AURAA UNLIMITED, an enhancement company which specializes in the transformation of individuals through inspired content. As a writer, blogger, mentor and dynamic public speaker, Jennifer creates and delivers content that addresses the challenges and joys of being a woman in transition.
Having had her own life, not once, but twice completely derailed she discovered that life’s trials are universal and not specific to age, race, income level, class or culture. In print or in person, Jennifer takes the invaluable lessons she learned during her own complex personal journey and uses them to encourage, support and uplift other women through the various seasons of their life.
In an aim to provide a forum for women to project their own voice, Jennifer recently formed “The Spotlight,” a public-speaking incubator. In The Spotlight, participants are transformed to take “Center Stage” in a lounge-type atmosphere where they recount their own stories of overcoming. Some of these stories will be featured in the forthcoming compilation book, “A Quote She Wrote,” subtitled, “You Don’t Have to Look Like What You’ve Been Through.”
On her 50th birthday, Jennifer founded The Queen of Sheba Foundation where women who deserve a second chance in life are honoured and celebrated. At an annual gala, one woman who epitomizes the mission of the Foundation is crowned that year’s “Queen of Sheba.” With a heart for women’s causes, Jennifer volunteers at a number of community organizations. She is currently on the Business Advisory Board of Women on the Move, Long Island and also serves on the Board of the Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition as PR Director. She has volunteered as a workshop presenter and personal shopper for Dress for Success, NY. In addition, she held posts on the Executive Board of the Top Ladies of Distinction, Gotham Chapter as well as the Elizabeth Support Group of the Greater Allen Cathedral.
Jennifer loves music. She enjoys travel, fashion design, motor cycle riding and target shooting.
